National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad (NIPER-Hyderabad) and Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) executed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for assisting NIPER in the areas of innovation management, technology transfer, facilitating collaborations with industry, spin off creation etc today (14th July 2026). The MoA was executed by Prof. Shailendra Saraf, Director, NIPER-Hyderabad and Dr. Purnima Sharma, Managing Director, BCIL in presence of senior faculty members in a ceremony organized at NIPER-Hyderabad. Dr. Purnima Sharma also delivered a presentation on “Essentials of Technology Licensing” highlighting case studies of how research can be transformed into impactful innovations through IP protection, technology transfer, industry partnerships, spin offs etc.
